Lynne Lewis was raised in Puyallup and understands the area and the people that live here. Her father was a local dairyman, so she’s been around animals all of her life. As a young girl, Lynne was actively involved in local 4-H dog shows. Through the years her scope of training has matured and she now specializes in guiding dog owners through the challenges of puppy hood into a happy life with a well trained family companion

Her passion for animals and their care, led her to be the District Sales Manager for Natural Life Pet Products - a naturally preserved pet food Company. The natural pet food industry was in it’s infancy - now, all major pet food retailers use similar technology and processing to make their foods. Lynne was a “pioneer” in the development and marketing of a natural way to feed dogs and cats.

Lynne’s desire to build a modern boarding facility for dogs and cats in the South Hill area has “driven” her life for many years. She finally found the perfect location and has now opened her new facility.

Lynne’s youngest daughter Janessa has shared her mother’s love for animals and 2 years ago she and her son Ayden joined Lynne and together they operate Town & Country Kennel. Their pride of ownership is evident in the care your dog receives.

It is truly a "town and country" kennel. Located just off Highway 512, on the border of Puyallup and Tacoma, it is very easy to reach for “city-dwellers”, yet is nestled in a “park like” setting, among large, beautiful Evergreens. The 4.2 acre complex features a modern boarding facility with private dog walking trails and over an acre of manicured grass that is used as a dog exercise and play area. No other kennel in the Puget Sound has all of these features!
